Filip Pettersson joined VEO in autumn 2025 as a Lead Installer in Sweden. With a background in electrical and energy engineering as well as hands-on experience at various companies in the industry, he had already built a strong foundation in the field, but something was still missing. In this story, he shares what brought him to VEO.

Name: Filip Pettersson

Role: Lead Installer

Joined VEO: August 2025

Location: Västerås, Sweden

What made you interested in VEO?

Previously, I had mainly worked with repairs, maintenance and fault diagnosis, but I felt I was missing the bigger picture. So when I was approached about the role at VEO, I was interested straight away.

What especially appealed to me was the opportunity to be involved in the build-up phase and to see how the entire system works in practice. Working on projects across Sweden, combined with a different kind of work rhythm, also made the role feel both exciting and like a real opportunity to grow.

How has your role changed compared to before?

Working here has lived up to my expectations, and then some. My role at VEO comes with more responsibility and a clearer connection to the bigger picture. I’m able to directly influence the final outcome of projects, which makes the work especially motivating.

How have your first months at VEO been?

I’ve really enjoyed my time at VEO. My colleagues and managers are experienced, supportive and openly share their knowledge. I feel that my opinions are heard and valued, and that the company genuinely aims to create the conditions for everyone to succeed in their work.

What motivates you at work, and what do you hope for the future?

My work at VEO is varied and continuously developing. It’s important to me that my skills are trusted and that I’m given responsibility at work. In the future, I would like to lead projects of my own and really put my skills to the test.
