VEO’s hydropower governor HPG is a digital turbine governor and control system that enhances reliability and performance by minimising system interface components.
Designed to fit client needs and existing hydraulic power units, the HPG enables plant-specific regulation for optimal turbine efficiency. The system is easily controlled via a user-friendly local panel and a remote-control system.

The HPG meets stringent grid code compliance requirements, and supports national grid frequency for FCR-N and FCR-D functions. Based on the Siemens S7-1500 series, it is suitable for Kaplan, Pelton, and Francis water turbine regulation.
